MoroccanoilReviewsI swim and blow dry my hair on a regular basis. This product helps my frizzies like u would not believe. I decided to try this Moroccan oil in place of Carol's Daughter Lisa's Hair Elixir. When I apply it to my wet hair, it makes the curls more prominent. Wow, I love that! Also, it makes my hair super, duper soft - not even kidding you, I can use a wide tooth comb and comb through it as if it's not even wet! I have also used it on my hair after blowdrying, and true to it's word, it will not make your hair heavy and greasy, but it does not seem to do anything else other than that while my hair is dry. I love it more when applying on my wet hair. I have also used the Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask and it too is fabulous and makes my hair very soft and manageable! I will not replace these products with my Carol's Daughter b/c I think they're both great products, I will simply switch up using them. This Moroccan oil is definitely a keeper and I don't have to order it online anymore b/c I saw it in TJ Maxx last week - oh yeah! I don't know why this product gets such good reviews. It is expensive and does not work. My hair is thin and frizzy. I tried it several times hair wet, hair dry, small amount, meduim amount, large amount, and it does nothing for me. My hair still frizzes. The texture of my hair is better without it. I've got LOTS of very fine long hair that tends to be on the frizzy/kinky side and is VERY sensitive to humidity. I like to wear it natural but was looking for a product that would give my natural waves more definition and cut down on the frizz; and also help with some breakage and split ends. Well, sad to say, this is NOT the product. While I fell in love with the scent (kinda musky) it did nothing to tame the frizz-at all or help define any curls; in fact it made the frizzies worse. I tried it on damp hair, dry hair... one dime size, two dime sizes... 3 dime sizes (tilting the bottle onto my open palm and quickly tilting it back up again and using what was left on my palm). Didn't matter how much or little I used; the results were the same... frizz-more frizz than when I DIDN'T use it! The ingredients are: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl Methyl Propional, Argania Spinoza Kernel Oil (Argan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone. Perhaps I'm not getting any benefits because Argan Oil is the FIFTH ingredient on the list; and most likely the top 4 ingredients are too heavy/oily for my fine hair and are diminishing any benefits I *could* be getting from it. From what I've heard, if you really want to reap the benefits of Argan Oil, your best bet is to purchase *the real deal* ie. 100% pure again oil; which is exactly what I intend to do. As for this Moroccan Oil? I'm now using it as a cuticle treatment... still love the smell! ;) This is an amazing product. Well worth the price. My husband uses it as well. He is nearly bald, but the hair on the side of his head looks so much more alive after he showers each day. As they say on some commercial "a little drop will do you". Average Rating:![]() |

Moroccanoil Oil Treatment (3.4 oz)ReviewsFor the money and the great reviews this product has received, I was a little disappointed when the product didn't make my hair any softer or silkier. It smells great when you put it on but after several hours or overnight, my hair felt dry and frizzy again. Maybe I just have really dry hair but I've used other products for half the price that do a better job. My wife who has thinner and softer hair also wasn't impressed. Probably will not be buying this product again. I also tried using a lot more of the product in hopes of getting better results but it didn't seem to make a difference. Product was as described. Good service; I didn't pay for expedited service and it arrived in 3 days. There are only three words for this product, Oh My God. I first read about this product on a Yahoo beauty article so I did more research into the product. Every single review that I read only had great things to say, so I bought a bottle. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I am in my 40's and this product makes my hair feel super soft, manageable and shinny. It is worth every penny. Love this product I color my hair and the oil make my hair shine and smooth Had used the product because a friend had it, loved the way it made my hair feel. Smells good too. It is a tad pricey, but found a seller that had a bunch in stock, a good price and shipping wasn't too costly. Shipped fast too. Would definitely order again through Amazon. Average Rating:![]() |

Moroccan Oil Treatment for all Hair Types .85 ozReviewsI love the way this stuff smells. The first time I used it or ever experience this stuff I loved it. I still like it but I think the chi hair silk is better. I love Moroccan Oil but its expensive and the prices have risen due to demand. I agree with Warren, Im using Argan Oil which is excellent for 20.00 less. Smells wonderful. Works well to treat hair but not as oily feeling as other products. I love it. A lot of produts have elements that are harmfull, however this one has SYNTHETIC COLORS Used to make cosmetics "pretty," synthetic colors, along with synthetic hair dyes, should be avoided at all costs. They will be labeled as FD&C or D&C, followed by a color and a number. In this case D&C Yellow-11,D&C Red-17. Many synthetic colors can be carcinogenic. If a cosmetic contains them, don't use it. But you dont have to believe me,make your own researches. I thought the oil smelled realllly yummy. Felt oily in my hands, no surprise there! When I put it in my hair while it was wet, I didn't notice much difference but I would caution someone trying this for the first time NOT to put too much in the hair - you only need a bit. I felt it's silky effect when my hair was DRY, which was a wonderful softness, not greasy. My hair did take a bit longer to dry. (I have shoulder length hair) I thought the product was OK. I used the small sample size and I thought that was sufficient to see if I liked it enough before buying the big expensive size and it was. I don't think it's any worse or really better than any others, since the ingredient list has a bunch of silicone derivatives, I was disappointed with that since I thought I was getting this exotic OIL and I think there is actually very little of the oil in there. I read up on all the infomercials about it and on their official site and they didn't mention that it is mostly silicons. :::shrug::: I have tried other things like Cowboy Magic that have similar ingredients and did the same thing for MUCH cheaper - not with that yummy scent though!! I can see how I might like to keep a product like this around on days when my hair is feeling unruly. I don't think it improved my hair overall, I only felt the silky effects on days I used the product. I did really like the seller though. VERY prompt shipper and even sent out a smaller sample with the one that I purchased which was an excellent bonus. Would definitely purchase other product from this seller again!! Oil & WaterReviewsStephen Kent's more recent offering. Although this CD is a bit different than his 'Landing' and 'Family Tree' titles, it should still do a lot for loyal followers. Tracks to fully take in (listen to 'em twice) if need be are the eight-minute ethnic / tribal "Thel Kupa", "Ouled Sergo" (to me, it sounds like maybe a lost Embryo cut that never made it onto an lp), the stunning Lights In A Fat City-like "Valley Of The Winds", "Edge Of Time" and "Elders Lament" (sort of reminded me of possibly Third Ear Band). I know what you're thinking - WHAT am I on tonight? Actually check out all the cool instruments that Kent decided to employ while assembling this piece of work - didgeridoo (of course), frame drum, sintir, bass, guitar and percussion. Hopefully, this CD won't be the last we hear from him. The mere mention of the Australian digiridu --a long, oboe-like instrument-- is enough to make some nonbelievers cringe in terror: several years ago it was adopted as an instrument of choice by world music's fusion-y New Age contingent, and since then its status has never been the same. What's most remarkable about this album, though, is that it's really quite good, although it is pretty much what you'd call a "world fusion" album. To start with, Californian Kent is a virtuoso performer, capable of delving deep into the tonal richness of his chosen instrument, but also of playing shorter notes and not just the long, resonant drones the digiridu is known for. These controlled percussive bursts are so unlike most digiridu playing that at first I wondered if they'd been sampled or digitally manipulated; but no, I think he's just an amazingly skilled performer. Naturally Kent also explores a wide variety of musical styles and it's the album's odd multicultural combinations -- the "oil and water" of elements you wouldn't expect to mix -- that bring life to this album. Some parts work better than others: in general, the Western funk and pop mixes seem tacky, but the tracks that borrow from various "world music" styles -- Tuvan throat singing, Arabic percussion, EastIndian flutes -- are pretty nice. One song which features a shimmering cascade of Rajasthani flutes, "Edge Of Three," is particularly beautiful. Though this record edges into territiory that I don't normally go for, there are several songs on here that I could see working into a mix. Worth checking out! Average Rating:![]() |

Didgeridoo or didjeridu. Whatever the spelling of this strange instrument may be, it is usually associated with the indigenous people of the fifth continent, the Austra-lian Aborigines. But there is also a Californian by the name of Stephen Kent who was born in England and grew up in East Africa among other countries... |
