I bought this bed in a bag a while ago (not on amazon) so when I saw it here I thought Id post a review. Like other reviewers have stated, this product looks NOTHING like the picture. I mean, when I opened the box I was shocked because it wasn't even close. I was so disappointed and sent it back. It looks lovely in the photo, but dont be fooled, its not that pretty.

I came across a tassel off one of the pillows to this set the other day while packing...and remembered that when I purchased this set a while back, I could not believe my luck! ALL of this? For THAT price?? WOW!!! Then, the package came. This was by far the most tacky bed set I had ever seen. The colors are NOT a pretty lavender and soft gold, they are rust colored red, cat-vomit yellow, moldy green...you get the idea? This was HORRIBLE. To top it off, the border was a terribly put together and the fabric REEKED. It made my living room stink after I opened it. At the time I bought this set, I paid VERY little for it, and it was NOT worth the cost, time, or the effort (HORRIBLE return policy) to send it back. JUST DON'T BUY IT! Save yourself the trouble!

If I could subtract the stars from the above and give this a negative rating I would. First and foremost, the method of shipping is not one of the most convenience. You have no choice but to wait at home for the delivery and if you miss it? You can not go and pick up the package anywhere. So I spent my entire Saturday afternoon waiting for this item. In the picture it looks as if the comforter set is beautiful warm colors light browns, light purples, various shades of pink??? NOT IN THE LEAST! It is horrendous shades of hunter green and mustard gold color, dark burgundy, and this horrendous puke green, all wrapped up in this tacky gold rope bordering with tassels of bronze!!! Nothing like the picture, and what's worse is that at the end of the day? I have spent half the price of the item in shipping just for them to ship this atrocious thing to me, and have them ship it back!! Complete disappointment.

My order arrived in the time frame promised. I love the whole set. The sheet set is good quality. Being machine washable is a big bonus. The picture does not lie, it is just as pretty in my room as in the picture online.

I will returning this item. It is so poorly constructed that it began falling apart in about two weeks. The seams holding the different colored fabrics together started coming apart and the fabric fraying. The comforter size wasn't big enough for our deeper mattress and the sheets didn't match the setand were rather coarse. I've had the quilt in this fabric combo and it was a more sturdy fabric so that's the direction I'm going. We've decorated our room around these colors and really didn't want to change. On the brighter side Amazon.com's service was excellent and I remain a customer.

This is a wonderful value at $129. We were switching from a queen to a king bed, so we needed sheets, too. I was planning on just using the sheets as a back-up because I figured they would be a cheap set for this price with everything else you got. I was wrong. We are using these sheets as the main set. They are white and 400 thread count. Everything is machine washable which is a must for me. The feel of this comforter is very nice and silky soft. It also looks very nice. The color is very accurate to the picture. All of the extra decorative pillows are great. I always wanted them with previous sets, but did not want to pay more for them - most of the time $20 a piece. This was a great buy and has helped our bedroom look and feel much more serene.
