Amber Square Moroccan LanternReviewsI have purchased several lanterns in this style in different sizes and styles, and this is by far the most authentic looking. It is very well made. It is perfectly proportioned (unlike others which look cheap or awkward, plastic painted "glass", cheap, bent metal, too skinny or too tall). Either candlelit or sunlit from behind, the color is so alluring. The metal is beautiful as well, overall a very quality product. I just wish it were available in other colors, this would be beautiful as a colored grouping! The lamp is beautiful and just the right size. Yellow Glass Moroccan-style LanternReviewsThis looks so much better in the photographs. The glass is loose on one side, and the metal is VERY thin. Good for the price, but the price was cheap. I purchased this lantern and it arrived in a timely manner. The lantern is very beautiful and well made. There is plenty of space inside the lantern to put just about any size candle. When the lantern is lit, a pattern appears on the ceiling. The lantern that I received has real yellow glass panels. Overall, I am very pleased. The product that I recieved was in excellent condition and well made. I looked at this lamp for quite some time. I assumed that it may be something you see in a "junk" imports shop, but decided to take a chance when I recieved some gift money and order it for my Moroccan themed bedroom. I was not disappointed. The "glass" is beautiful, textured and has a very deep coloration. The metal seems sturdy and didn't have marks and scratches. The door to open the candle chamber lined up with the hinges and opens/closes easily with with just enough resistance to keep it closed. It is designed to be used as either a hanging candle holder (tea light) or can be used standing on a flat surface. There are loops to hang it by, but you will need to get chain separately. Another bonus was that I ordered 3 different lamps from this same company and they combined my shipping charges. I paid the same shipping for 3 that I would have for one. We bought the yellow glass lantern and are actually happy with it. We put it outside on our patio table and it gives a VERY subtle glow at night with a candle inside. It is made a bit on the cheap side though with thin plastic and the panes are not perfectly cut either. Not a bad price though and it is cute. If you are really looking for something ultra special though...keep looking. Still we are happy with it ourselves. I ordered this lantern for my daughter and she absolutely loved it. It is beautiful and really gives a Moroccan theme anywhere you put it. She has it on her enclosed porch but it is nice enough to put in her bedroom. Average Rating: |

Votivo Aromatic CandleReviewsThe candles were delivered as promised and my niece just loves them. However since they were purchased as a gift, I wish the seller offered gift wrapping as an option. The candle holder is glass and he retailer did not package candle properly and it arrived in a million pieces. I would not order from this retailer again. I have been buying votivo candles for many years at various stores in my area. I have also been purchasing items from amazon.com for many years and have always been extremely pleased. However, when I bought these votivo candles from amazon they did not seem to have the same strength of the aroma that I love so much and they seemed to burn faster than any I had purchased before at local stores. It is a mystery to me. my wife loves candles with scents. me, i hate them. they burn my eyes, and u end up blowing them out as soon as i smell them. this is the only oderiferous candle that my wife has that doesnt burn my eyes/nose/throat. fantastic fragrance, no harshness. pretty pricey, i guess, but a fine little candle indeed.
